داشتن پاسپورت معتبر: شما نیاز به پاسپورتی دارید که در زمان ثبت نام، حداقل یک روز اعتبار داشته باشه. بدون پاسپورت یا با پاسپورتی که تاریخ انقضاش گذشته، نمیتوانید در لاتاری ثبت نام کنید.

- متقاضیان ثبت نام لاتاری ایرانیان مقیم خارج، با داشتن شرایط زیر می توانند در لاتاری ثبت نام کنند:
- داشتن پاسپورت معتبر کشور محل تولدتون (در صورت منقضی شدن پاسپورت، باید به کنسولگری یا سفارت ایران در کشور محل زندگی مراجعه و پاسپورت جدید دریافت کنید.
- مجاز بودن کشور محل تولد برای ثبت نام در لاتاری
- داشتن حداقل 18 سال سن
- داشتن حداقل مدرک دیپلم یا دو سال سابقه کار تخصصی
حتما توجه داشته باشید که کشوری که در حال حاضر در آن زندگی می کنید، اصلا اهمیت ندارد، تنها نکته مهمی که باید رعایت کنید، داشتن پاسپورت کشور محل تولد شماست.
حتما زمان تکمیل فرم ثبت نام، اطلاعاتتون را به زبان فارسی تکمیل کنید. همچنین در قسمت وارد کردن آدرس، محل سکونتتون را به صورت کامل وارد کنید.
استفاده از کلمات “خیابان”، “کوچه” و “پلاک” در آدرس اهمیت زیادی داره.

نامه دوم برندگان لاتاری و تعیین وقت مصاحبه
نامۀ دوم پس از کارنت شدن کیس میرسه البته شما باید روی سایت رسمی اداره کنسولگری در بازه‌های زمانی مشخص دریافت وقت سفارت را کنترل کنید. پس از دریافت نامه دوم و تعیین وقت سفارت باید نسبت به اعلام وقت سفارت دریافتی از اداره کنسولگری وزارت امورخارجه آمریکا به سفارت مورد نظر آمریکا اقدام کنید.

تا سال2014 برندگان لاتاری باید دو فرم DSP 122 و فرم DS 230 را تکمیل و برای مرکز KCC که نهاد رسیدگی به پرونده های برندگان لاتاریست، ارسال می کردند اما از لاتاری 2015، فرم DS 260 که یک فرم جامع و آنلاینه جایگزین دو فرم قبلی شده و همۀ متقاضیان ویزای مهاجرتی آمریکا از جمله برندگان لاتاری باید برای شروع پروسه ویزا تنها فرم DS 260 را برای خودشون و همۀ افراد زیر مجموعه‌شون به صورت آنلاین تکمیل کنند.
اگر ایمیلی به دستتون رسید که شما برنده لاتاری شدید و باید با تکمیل فرم DS 230 امور مرتبط با برندگان لاتاری را آغاز کنید.
این ایمیل‌ها کاملا تقلبین، فرم DS 230 دیگر برای گرفتن ویزای آمریکا استفاده نمیشه و برای برندگان لاتاری ایمیلی تحت عنوان برنده شدن در لاتاری از سوی اداره مهاجرت امریکا و یا KCC ارسال نمیشه.
